It takes a thief to catch a thief, a killer to kill...

Sway - "found him off the streets of Berkele...where you from man?"
Lateef - "I'm from Oakland man."
Sway - "He from The Town."

Remember this Lateef? Not to diss the current Lateef, but this Lateef was incredible. When this freestyle was recorded the Latyrx album had yet to be released, but Lateef was riding on the buzz of his "Quickening/Wreckoning" 12 inch. It may not all be "off the dome," but who cares. He's got a great (sing-a-long) chorus, dope rhymes, and it's over the De La Bizness beat.

I don't remember the exact date, but it must have been sometime in 1997.

Would it be possible for you to reupload the beats from that post? The download links don't work anymore...

I would be eternally grateful.
